2024 SEASON LAUNCH Join us at the Commercial Club, Albury in the Banksia Room on the 5th of April to welcome the 2024 season with our Season Launch and Jersey Auction. Proceedings will kick off at 6:30pm. With all new players for the 2024 season being introduced and the official welcoming of our U16’s. $10 entry which will include finger food. The Thunder has again been asigned the Albury Gold Cup Calcutta. Prize Pool Division: 1st 70%, 2nd 20% and 3rd 10% Tickets: $2 We invite all Thunder members and community to join us for a meal and take in the nights events at this years Culcutta. Entry to the club is free.

The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival is now clearly established as one of the premier country racing carnivals in Australia.   Winner of the prestigious Racing NSW award for the ‘Most Popular Country Feature Race meeting’ in 2009, 2008, 2006, 2004 and 2003.  The Albury Gold Cup is recognised as an icon event for the fast developing city of Albury.  With over $770,000 in prize money, trophies and bonuses on offer over two days with the feature race – $200,000 Listed Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup (2000m). The two day 2024 Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival will be held, Thursday 21st March and Friday 22nd March 2024. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult for entry to the course.

SUNSHINE RIDE 2024 Attention Thunder Community The Sunshine Ride is back for 2024 on March 15th! We are calling ALL interested riders to fill out the following form https://forms.gle/6yuoVihthe2xYRgb7 to indicate what times you would like to ride. This event is open to ALL of our Thunder community. Players, partners, coaches, sponsors and families are all encouraged and welcome to come and join us in supporting this great event. The 24hr ride will take place at Greenfield Park, feel free to call in at anytime and jump on the bike.
