The Thunder has again been asigned the Albury Gold Cup Calcutta. Prize Pool Division: 1st 70%, 2nd 20% and 3rd 10% Tickets: $2 We invite all Thunder members and community to join us for a meal and take in the nights events at this years Culcutta. Entry to the club is free.

The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival is now clearly established as one of the premier country racing carnivals in Australia.   Winner of the prestigious Racing NSW award for the ‘Most Popular Country Feature Race meeting’ in 2009, 2008, 2006, 2004 and 2003.  The Albury Gold Cup is recognised as an icon event for the fast developing city of Albury.  With over $770,000 in prize money, trophies and bonuses on offer over two days with the feature race – $200,000 Listed Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup (2000m). The two day 2024 Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival will be held, Thursday 21st March and Friday 22nd March 2024. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult for entry to the course.

SUNSHINE RIDE 2024 Attention Thunder Community The Sunshine Ride is back for 2024 on March 15th! Albury Thunder Annual Corporate Golf Day Join us for our annual golf day on the 8th of March at the Albury Commercial Golf Club. The day will consist of teams of 4, with a 12:30pm tee off. Game play will be a 4 ball Ambrose with a shotgun start with awards up for grabs on the day. Cost: $320 per team ($80 per player), carts not included in entry fee.
